CEO & Co-founder
Ray Luckey serves as the CEO and Co-founder at Poop Garden. With 20 years of experience in the tech industry he brings strategic vision and innovative thinking to the world of sustainable organic gardening.
On a whim he planted a small fruit garden on the roof of the corporate headquarters during his tech career. This project proved that plants can grow anywhere and were just as important to sustainability as solar generated electricity.
He met Maria Smirnov, co-founder, at a luncheon held in honor of Steve Wozniak. This encounter inspired the creation of Poop Garden and its mission to share practical natural gardening methods with gardeners everywhere.
Poop Garden.com focuses on practical time tested approaches centered around compost and organic fertilizers. Luckey leads the talented team that includes Primary Gardener Grace VanSchneider, Garden Ideator Howard Lincoln, Garden Synergizer Jon Todd, and Holistic Gardener Linda Beauregard.
His leadership combines technology experience with a deep passion for environmental stewardship and soil health. Luckey helps create resources that make high yield sustainable gardening accessible enjoyable and effective for people in any living situation.
At Poop Garden he continues to inspire audiences by showing how thoughtful innovation and respect for natural processes can transform any space into a thriving productive garden.
