She learned how to relax through gardening after her stressful days trading options. This personal discovery showed her the powerful restorative benefits of working with soil and plants and deepened her commitment to organic methods.
She met Ray Luckey, co-founder, at a luncheon held in honor of Steve Wozniak. This encounter inspired the creation of Poop Garden and its mission to share practical natural gardening methods with gardeners everywhere.
Poop Garden focuses on practical time tested approaches centered around compost and organic fertilizers. Smirnov works closely with co-founder Ray Luckey, Primary Gardener Grace VanSchneider, Garden Ideator Howard Lincoln, Garden Synergizer Jon Todd, and Holistic Gardener Linda Beauregard.
